Definitions of Professional League

i. The league is organised on a nationwide basis and consists of a certain number of teams.
ii. The format of the league is home & away system and number of matches per team is sufficient.
iii. The period of the league is long enough.
iv. Admission is charged and the number of attendance is sufficient.
v. Marketing activities are conducted under the common understanding shared by the league and the clubs.
vi. The matches in the league are soundly operated in high quality stadia.
vii. League governing body is a legal entity and is in sound management.
viii. Only the clubs which fit the “Definitions of Professional Club” participate in the league.
ix. The league matches are exposed to TV, newspapers and magazines.

Definitions of Professional Club

i. Majority of players in a team are professional.
ii. Admission is charged and gate receipt is one of the main sources of income.
iii. The club is a commercial entity under its national law. It prepares annual financial statement.
iv. The club is in sound management. Cross-ownership of the clubs is not allowed.
v. The club invests in youth development programmes.
vi. The club employs trained and qualified coaches and competent management staff.
vii. The club has or can guarantee the use of both the stadium and the training site with certain facilities.
viii. The club is supported by its local government. The club has a good relationship with its community.

프로클럽의 정의
1. 팀의 대다수의 선수는 전업선수여야 한다.
2. 입장료는 부과되어야 하며 입장권 수익이 구단의 중요 수익중 하나가 되어야 한다.
3. 클럽은 자국법상 상업 법인(commercial entity)이어야 하며, 년간 재무재표를 준비해야 한다.
4. 클럽은 건정한 재정상태를 유지해야 하며, 클럽의 복수 소유는 금지된다.
5. 클럽은 유소년 발전 프로그램에 투자해야 한다.
6. 클럽은 자격있는 관리직 스탭과 코치를 고용해야 한다.
7. 클럽은 사용할 일정시설이 완비된 훈련장소와 경기장을 보증해야 한다.
8. 클럽은 지자체에 지원이 있어야 하며 지역사회와 좋은 관계를 가져야 한다.
